  • Drawing and Character Design – 30 credit (core)
  • Digital Design and Image Making – 30 credit (core)
  • Game Design – 30 credit (core)
    Concepts and prototype physical games, game development with Unity Engine
  • 3D Modelling – 30 credit (core)

Year 2 – Level 5

  • Moving Image & VFX – 30 credit (core)
  • Advanced 3D Modelling & Animation – 30 credit (core)
  • Modelling and Texturing – 30 credit (core)
    Teamwork with GP students, creating assets for a 3D game.
  • Augmented Toy Development – 30 credit (core)
    Working with embedded technology and/or VR to create prototype smart toys and virtual experience; using 3D printing techniques

Year 3 – Level 6

  • Project – 30 credit (core)
  • Games Asset Development – 30 credit (core)
    Teamwork with CGP students to produce 3D game – production of assets: environments, objects, vehicles, characters
  • Work Related or Research Related Learning – 15 credit (core)
    Client-facing, using existing skills or supporting research project; preparation for employment
  • Advanced CGI Techniques – 15 credit (core)
  • Visual Effects for Computer Graphics and Games – 30 credit (core)
