  • Drawing and Character Design – 30 credit (core)
  • Digital Design and Image Making – 30 credit (core)
  • Game Design – 30 credit (core)
    Concepts and prototype physical games, casual browser game development (HTML5/JavaScript)
  • 3D Modelling – 30 credit (core)

Year 2 – Level 5

  • Moving Image & VFX – 30 credit (core)
  • Advanced 3D Modelling & Animation – 30 credit (core)
  • Modelling and Texturing – 30 credit (core)
    Teamwork with CGP students, creating assets for a 3D game.
  • Digital Toy Design – 30 credit (core)
    Working with Arduino to create prototype smart toys, using 3D printing techniques and embedded electronics

Year 3 – Level 6

  • Project – 30 credit (core)
  • Games Asset Development – 30 credit (core)
    Teamwork with CGP students to produce 3D game – production of assets: environments, objects, vehicles, characters
  • Long Work Related Learning – 30 credit (core)
    Real work for a client, using existing skills.
  • Visual Effects for Computer Graphics and Games – 30 credit (core)
