Next year, Londonmet is one of the official hosts for the 2016 Global Gamejam, taking place in Shoreditch from 29-31 Jan.

The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world’s largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world in physical locations.

“The weekend stirs a global creative buzz in games, while at the same time exploring the process of development, be it programming, iterative design, narrative exploration or artistic expression. It is all condensed into a 48 hour development cycle. The GGJ encourages people with all kinds of backgrounds to participate and contribute to this global spread of game development and creativity.”

This year’s summer show will take place on 5/6 June 2014, in the Graduate Centre and Blue Met Lounge on Holloway Road.

We’ll finish with a flourish this year – our CLOSING PARTY is from 5-8pm on 6th June.

There is a Faculty Employer Network and Enterprise Day event taking place on the closing day on 6th June 10 am – 4:30 pm at the same venue. Registration on (industry14.eventbrite.com) is essential.
